PRIVACY / WEBRTC

What your
browser reveals.

A quick check of WebRTC and information available to web pages. Results stay on this page and are not saved.

A diagnostic check, not a security certificate.

Local addresses, timezone and language are browser-visible data, not proof of tracking. This test does not check DNS leaks, VPN reliability or every fingerprinting method.

Run a check

The standard check uses no external STUN servers and requests no camera, microphone or location access.

No check has been run yet.

Understanding the results

WebRTC and addresses

A .local address indicates mDNS masking of the local IP. A numeric address means the page can read it. No candidates may mean WebRTC is restricted, disabled or unsupported. It does not guarantee the absence of leaks.

Public IPs and VPNs

Different HTTP and WebRTC public addresses warrant a review of your network settings. VPNs, proxies, IPv4/IPv6 or multiple connections can cause differences. Matching addresses do not prove a VPN is safe.

What you can improve

Keep your browser updated and review site permissions and tracking protection settings. If you do not need WebRTC, consider restricting it through your browser or VPN. DNT and GPC express preferences; they do not block tracking.
